(GMS) — Green Meadow School concluded its eight-week summer program with a fun recital followed by a lively musical on July 29, 2023 at  the multi-purpose center in Susupe.

K3 to first grade students from both the Gualo Rai and Chalan Kiya campuses showcased their dancing prowess and entertained the crowd.

The Gualo Rai campus students excelled in their cowboy-themed performance while the Chalan Kiya kindergartners wowed the audience with their Baby Shark and Gummy Bear dance.

The recital also featured Tumon Bay Festival’s gold medalist Chealzka Navarro, who is a proud GMS alumna.

The first to eighth grade students of Key Notes School of Music, headed by teacher Maricel Javier, performed several masterpieces. The two-month music class produced musically talented pianists, ukelele players, drummers, and singers.

One of the highlights of the day’s event was GMS’ adaptation of  “Matilda the Musical.”

The production comprised of 12 scenes, each with  captivating songs performed by students from first to sixth grades, while seventh and eighth graders helped with the backstage action.

The GMS students’ talents were on full display  as evidenced by the audience's applause.
